Set at the outbreak of the attack on Pearl Harbor, "The Remove of Mamie Stover" stars Jane Russell as "working girl" Mamie who arrives in Honolulu and find a job at 'The Bungalow'. The Bungalow is thatch roof building with private rooms for adult entertainment by the women who work there. Mamie quickly becomes the star attraction under the stage name Flaming Mamie. Using her newfound, Mamie works to escape her past. The movie gives a great look at Hawaii of the 1940's & 1950's.
